【词源解释】aesthetic←希腊语aisthetikos（感知、感觉）=【背景知识】单词aesthetic的含义本来与其希腊语词源相同，后来由于“美学之父”鲍姆嘉通的影响，含义才转变为“美学的”、“审美的”。鲍姆嘉通把美学规定为研究人感性认识的学科。他认为人的心理活动分知、情、意三方面。研究知或人的理性认识有逻辑学，研究人的意志有伦理学，而研究人的情感即相当于人感性认识的学科，鲍姆嘉通将其称为“aesthetics”，因为它的研究对象是aesthetic（感知、感觉），后来翻译成汉语就成了“美学”。随着美学的发展，aesthetic变成了美学中的专用名词，原有的词义反而被人遗忘了，只有在含有它的其他词语如anaesthetic（麻醉的）中才能发现它的初始含义。=【同源词】esthetic（美学的），aesthetics（美学），aesthete（唯美主义者、美学家），aestheticism（唯美主义），anaesthetic（麻醉的）
