Analyses were performed for the factors which caused infection and dehiscence of 30 cases of lateral episiotomy, it was found that healing of incision was correlated with presence or absence of infection before and after delivery, vulval edema and suture technique of the midwives.

The radical operation for vulval carcinoma was performed in 49 patients from Jan 1977 to Feb 1987. All patients received radical vulvectomy including superficial inguinal, femoral and deep femoral lymph nodes dissection, and most of them also had pelvic lymphadenectomy.
