iTunes是苹果公司开发的数字媒体播放应用程序，最初由Jeff Robbin和Bill Kincaid于1999年以SoundJam MP名称发布，2000年被苹果收购后重制。2001年1月10日首发于Mac OS 9平台，后扩展至Windows系统。该软件支持音乐视频播放管理、iPod设备同步及iTunes Store内容购买，兼容MP3、AAC等格式音频文件，通过XML格式文件存储元数据实现跨平台兼容性，并提供DAAP协议局域网共享功能 。软件可通过苹果官网免费下载，预装于所有Macintosh电脑及部分iPod设备，并作为iLife多媒体套件组成部分。
